Initial sign-language content platform
Built content CRUD, upload and state handling, and animation-module integration.
From May 2019 to January 2021, I built the backend for a sign-language content production and translation platform, including CRUD, tags, uploads, and task-state management.
Connecting production work
I integrated an external animation-management module and updated the database when uploaded files arrived. An AWS proof of concept preceded deployment on Azure; the work also included Nginx weighted upstream configuration.
What followed
The platform gave deaf and hard-of-hearing team members a way to participate in translation work for each piece of content. Later improvements to management, search, and asynchronous processing are covered in the modernization project.
