Content production platform modernization
Reworked content state, search, synchronization, and asynchronous processing.
Between January 2022 and April 2023, I modernized a sign-language content platform. I redefined service, user, and content states and revised storage logic before extending the management APIs.
Search and processing
I implemented OpenSearch queries and synchronization with the database, alongside asynchronous processing with Celery and Redis. API documentation and a test environment were part of the same work. Persisted content and searchable content needed to be handled as distinct states.
Outcome
My public profile records 50% less development time, 30% faster processing, and 30% fewer incorrect search results. Development and user testing were completed; further feature work was paused when another project took priority.
